Application for Study at HBUT

Step 1: Applicants should contact HBUT and submit the following materials (a clear digital version is acceptable): the first page of Passport, Application Form, Highest Education Certificate, and Transcript.

Step 2: HBUT will review the materials and issue Letter of Admission and Visa Application for Study inChina(JW202 Form) to admitted applicants.

Step 3: Admitted applicants apply for the visa in the Chinese Embassy of their own countries with their Letter of Admission, Visa Application for Study inChina(JW202 Form), Foreigner Physical Examination Form. (Admitted applicants who are already inChinacan arrive and register at HBUT directly.)

Step 4: Admitted applicants should arrive and register at HBUT on schedule with their Letter of Admission, JW202 Form, Passport, 8 Photos for identification in blue background (including electronic version), Physical Examination Form (Blood Test, X Ray Photograph, Clinical Electrocardiography etc.). Besides, admitted applicants should apply for Residence Permit within 30 days of entry. Those who fail to arrive and register at HBUT on schedule for no reason will be cancelled the admission qualification. Those who cannot arrive and register at HBUT on schedule with special reasons should contact HBUT in advance, and can only delay the admission after approved by HBUT.
