Increased Cooperation With Ruse University

At the beginning of May joint Vice Presidents of Ruse University, Bulgaria Professors Yuliana Popova & Plamen Daskalov visited HBUT. They were received by Director of the Department of International Relations, Long Yan and the Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, Sun Bingwen.

At the reception, Long Yan expressed her warm welcome to the guests on behalf of HBUT. She reminisced about the friendly cooperation between the two universities, before introducing HBUT's future green energy technology development strategy, and expressing her wish to commence the joint training programs at master's and doctoral levels.

Professor Popova introduced the history, current situation and advantages of Ruse University. She then expressed her desire to further deepen the cooperation between the two universities in terms of personnel training and scientific research cooperation.

Both Ruse University and HBUT plan to expand the academic exchange and scientific research cooperation between teachers and students on the basis of the Erasmus+ program, and reach an agreement on the issue of joint training master's and doctoral students.

After the talks, the Bulgarian delegation took a tour of the campus including the library, teaching buildings and laboratories. They praised the campus atmosphere, students and HBUT's international exchange work.
