The program meeting between HBUT and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

On the afternoon of October 17th, representatives from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, America, visited our university and have a meeting about the Sino-American cooperative education program in the 4th-floor meeting room in the Administration Building. The following university leaders attended the meeting: Prof. Liu Defu, our president; Prof. Zhang Yingjiang, our vice president; the directors of the Department of International Relations, the School of International Education, the School of Art and Design, the School of Industry Design, etc.



The meeting was hosted by our vice president, Prof. Zhang Yingjiang. Our president, Prof. Liu Defu expressed a warm welcome to the American representatives and thanked their contributions and efforts to the program. Then he introduced the basic situation of our university and pointed out the importance of the program's continued cooperation. Then the American representatives discussed improvement project of the program course modules and course plans with the leaders from our School of Art and Design and the School of Industry Design.


During the meeting, both parties agreed on renewing the cooperation agreement and undertook to make efforts to improving the program.



At that night, the campus talk of the Sino-American cooperation education program was held in the Lecture Hall on the fourth floor in the building of our School of Art and Design. Scott, the Dean of the School of Art and Design of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, America, and Sara, the director of the Department of International Education, gave a lecture about the program directed at Art and Design students from the Class of 2016. Students expressed great interested in the Sino-American cooperation education program.
