The opening ceremonies of HBUT & Elecworks Intelligent Electric Design Teaching Center and the seminar of Intelligent Electrical Design and Emulation Technology were held on April 18th in Room B311 of the Experiment and Training Center. More than 40 teachers and students from Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Technology, and other colleges and universities as well as representatives from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering attended the meeting. The event was co-sponsored by Hubei University of Technology and Trace Software (China) and hosted by Wuhan Keller New Technology Company.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Xi Ziqiang, Dean of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, introduced the general information of the school and the joint training by HBUT and Trace Software International (TSI) which would enhance the cooperation between international enterprises and universities to establish an experimental, teaching platform.
"HBUT & Elecworks Intelligent Electric Design Teaching Center will not only definitely promote students' engineering ability of practicing, designing and creating, but also actuate the technical progress and industrial development in order to achieve mutual benefit and development", Professor Xi emphasized.
Mr. Wang Rui, General Manager of Trace Software (China), gave a featured speech mainly about intelligent electric design based on Elecworks software. After that, both parties discussed the successful implementation of the electrical design standardization and some solutions to low voltage power distribution and computing, etc., and so on.
Hubei University of Technology is the first university in central China with which TSI cooperates. After putting HBUT & Elecworks Intelligent Electric Design Teaching Center into operation, the two sides will continue to carry out various forms of talent training cooperation.
