On the morning of June 7th, Dr. Matthias Pulsfort, the director professor from the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of University of Wuppertal(German: Bergische Universität Wuppertal), Germany, visited our university to discuss the Sino-Germany joint education program  for postgraduates between University of Wuppertal and our university. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Long Yan, the director of the Department of International Relations. The following university staff attended the meeting: our vice president, Prof. Zhang Yingjiang, the dean of our School of Civil Engineering,Architecture and Enviorment, Prof. Xiao Benlin, the dean of our School of International Education, Prof. Ye Chaocheng, the program liaison of the Sino-Germany joint education program for undergraduates, Mr. Sun Shaohua, several teachers of languages and  from the program, etc.

Our vice president, Prof. Zhang Yingjiang extended welcome to Prof. Matthias Pulsfort and thanks him for the outstanding contribution to the development of the joint education program as the director professor in University of Wuppertal. Prof. Zhang also expressed his aspiration for further cooperation between the two universities on the base of the joint education program for undergraduates.

During the meeting, two universities discussed the specific details about the joint education program for postgraduates, such as training mode, student sources, admission requirements, the agreement, etc.
