On the afternoon of April 7th at Hubei University of Technology, the "Guidance meeting to apply for State-Sponsored Overseas Training Program for Faculty Members 2017" and the "cross-cultural communication English salon No. 31" were held in the meeting room on the 1st floor of the administration building. Mr. Qi Pinwei, principal of Department of Study Abroad, International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Hubei Provincial Department of Education, was invited to this special edition salon. Nearly 100 teachers and staff from different departments attended the meeting.
Mr. Qi introduced the general status of the program in which there are more than 2,000 teachers and students from Hubei who have successfully participated from 2011 to 2016, and praised the achievements of Hubei University of Technology in recent years. He emphasized that the application process should be detailed to show the applicant’s credibility, academic ability, achievements, potential, and other major attributes.
The guidance meeting had great significance from which we have learned more about the policy of CSC and the overseas training program, and it will encourage more and more young teachers to make contributions to scientific research.
