2015 HBUT “Hu Gong Cup” Football League Held the Opening Ceremony

On the afternoon of May 6, HBUT “Hu Gong Cup” Men’s Football League held the opening ceremony on the football court. Altogether there are 12 teams, and more than 230 coaches and athletes. Zhang Yingjiang, HBUT deputy president, HBUT director of sports committee, Gao Yunan, manager of Wuhan Pepsi, and person in charge of the School of Physical Education attended the Opening Ceremony.

Deputy president Zhang Yingjiang made an opening speech and wished the Football League a great success.

After the Opening Ceremony, the competition between School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and School of Engineering Technology, and the competition between School of Economics and Management and Graduate School begun. The players did their best to compete. The spectators were enthusiastic to applaud for the players from time to time on such a hot sunny afternoon. Everyone enjoyed the competition. At last, the competition between School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering resulted in a 1-1 draw, while School of Economics and Management fought Graduate School with a 3-1 friendly win.

　　    “Hu Gong Cup” Football League held every two years is a traditional competition at HBUT, and it is favored by our football fans. This year, the “Hu Gong Cup” Football League receives greatrt popularity, and even some young faculty have participated the match, which makes the football league a good exchange platform for students and faculty.
