Delegates from Harare Institute of Technology Visited HBUT

On the afternoon of May 8, Perkins Muredzi, Dean of School of Engineering and Technology at Harare Institute of Technology, and Tinashe Mutema, Director of Department of International Relations and Communication came to visit HBUT. The person in charge of School of International Education received the delegates.

   On the meeting, Ye Chaocheng, Dean of School of International Education gave a general introduction to HBUT history, international programs and international students cultivation. Concerning the collaboration program, the mode of study, faculty cultivation, and faculty and student exchange, the two institutions conducted a further discussion and reached a consensus in collaboration.

    After the meeting, the delegates went to visit some key laboratories. Zhou He, Dean of Faculty of Light Industry, Fang Yapeng, Dean of School of Food and Pharmaceutical Engineering, and Professor Wang Haoyong warmly welcomed the delegates and introduced the teaching and scientific research situation in great detail. Besides, the two parties exchanged their ideas in scientific research collaboration and talents training.
