In the morning of June 30th, the recruitment ceremony for adjunct professor was held in the No. 401 meeting room in the Science and Technology Building. The following university leaders attended the activity: our vice president, Prof. Li Dongsheng, and the leaders from the Department of International Relations, the Department of Human Resources, the Department of Academic Affairs, and the School of Computer Science. During the recruitment ceremony, Prof. Fatos Xhafa from Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Brazil, and Prof. Leonard Barolli from Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan, were appointed as adjunct professors of our university.

Our vice president, Prof. Li Dongsheng, on behalf of our university, awarded the letters of appointment to the two professors and warmly welcomed them to be a part of our School of Computer Science. He also showed his expectation that their join-in could bring new vitality to the whole school. The two professors expressed that they would make efforts to promote inter-university international exchanges and enhance friendship and cooperation between our university and other international universities.

After the recruitment ceremony, Prof. Fatos Xhafa gave a thematic report entitled as Trustworthy Modelling and Prediction based on Big Data. Whereafter, Prof. Leonard Barolli gave a thematic report entitled as A New Platform for Medical and E-Learning Applications Using P2P and IoT Technologies. The reports brought new horizons for all the teachers and postgraduates from the School of Computer Science by letting them make close contact with the international advanced knowledge in the field of computer science.
