Procedures for Extending Residence Permit

1. Students (or with the assistance of student assistants) should take the original passport, the copy of the first page of the passport, valid residence permit, and the latest stamp visa pages, and a hand filled Accommodation Registration Form for Foreign Nationals to Nanhu Police Station, HUST Wuchang Branch to get the Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors from Overseas.

2. Preparing the following materials:

(1) The original passport; the copy of the first page of the passport, valid visa (residence permit), and the latest stamp visa pages

(2) Foreigner Visa Documents Application Form

(3) Two recent bareheaded and full-faced color photographs of 2 inches (passport sized photo)

(4) The original Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors from Overseas

(5) Certificate of Study Period (issued and sealed by School of International Education)

(6) The copy of Admission Letter (the original one should be printed on the document paper of School of International Education)

(7) The third page of the original Visa Application for Study inChina(JW201 or JW202)

3. Students take the materials to Wuhan Entry and Exit Administration of the Public Security Bureau Jiangnan Center.
